Conductivity(EC) Solution 84 1413 12880 µS/cm Calibration Solutions for EC Meters (250 mL)
Remark :
- 1000 µS/cm (microsiemens/centimeter) = 1 mS/cm (millisiemens/centimeter)
- It is recommended to calibrate 2 points cover the range you measure. But user must check EC meter specification whether it can do 2 points calibration by 2 values of these 3 choices(84, 1413 or 12880).
For example; you measure around 3000 to 5000 µS/cm.
>>> User can calibrate 2 points by using 1413 and 12880 µS/cm.
- In case the meter support only 1 point calibration. User can choose the nearest solution value to the measure value for calibration.
Instructions for use :
- Always rinse probes with tap water or purified (deionized) water before calibration.
- Pour out the solution(25 mL) into a small and clean beaker and submerge EC probe in the solution.
- Stir the probe gently, wait for the reading to be stable and perform calibration of EC meter.
- After the calibration is completed. The used solution must not be poured back into the bottle. Because it will cause the solution in the bottle to be contaminated.
- The EC meter should be calibrated at least once a month or may be once a week. Depending on how heavy you use the EC meter. If the meter was keep for several months, it is recommended to calibrate the meter first before using it.
- Store at room temperature with closed cap.
- The shelf life of the solution is 1 year. After opening the bottle, it is recommended to use within 3 - 6 months for the best result. If the bottle has been opened for more than 6 months, depending on whether the user can accept it because the value may be slightly deviated, for example EC 1413 µS/cm may be 1430 to 1450 µS/cm.
- For laboratory and industrial use only.
